When Monitor launched its most advanced safety shoe yet — packed with high-tech features like BOA® lacing, an HDry® waterproof membrane, a multi-layered outsole from Alcmy Systems, and an embedded NFC chip that can alert others in case of injury — they needed a way to explain it all in one compelling hit.
That’s where we came in.
Shoedog Studio was tasked with creating a fully animated 3D product film to unveil the product. More than just a promo, the goal was to deliver an experience that feels as technical and forward-thinking as the shoe itself.
“From the start, we knew this had to be more than a product video — it had to feel like stepping into the future.”
We began by digitally reconstructing the shoe, using a physical sample as reference to create a detailed 3D model. Every layer, texture, and component was recreated and refined for hyper-realistic rendering — from reflective midsoles to mesh overlays and technical trims.
Once the shoe was brought to life, we defined the creative direction and visual language. The concept: dark, moody, and energetic — a cinematic blend of sport and tech. We placed the shoe in a stylized world of deep shadows and vibrant neon green FX, echoing its signature design colors while amping up the sense of innovation.
This is where 3D meets storytelling.
To clearly communicate the shoe’s complex construction, we developed a series of exploded views that peel back each layer of the product — from outsole to upper — revealing the performance technology within.
A special x-ray sequence was created to visualize the embedded NFC chip, showcasing its location and functionality without disrupting the flow of the narrative.

The result is a dynamic product film that grabs attention from the first frame and never lets go.
It balances sleek design with technical clarity — helping retailers, partners, and end users understand what makes this shoe different.
To support the video, we also created graphics and motion-typography overlays that reinforce the storytelling: crisp, clean feature callouts that speak directly to performance, safety, and innovation.
